“The blanks are notoriously dirty rounds and they leave excess carbon in the weapon because of the blank fire barrel. We jacked up the gas setting and used Gun Gard. The only thing we did different was lube it with Gun Gard and had no stoppages. We usually get anything from 5-20 stoppages per 200 round belt, all related to gas fouling”
